The Bronze Age is the time period
when humankind first produced metal tools
made
out of an alloy of copper and tin or
copper and zinc. The time frame
of the Korean
Bronze Age is approximately from 1,000 to
400 B.C.,
but in practice, bronze tools
were used until the 1st ~2nd B.C.
Agriculture
was the primary means of living for the
Bronze people
who settled down around hilly
districts or alluvial plains,
forming a
large village.
While practical tools were made of stone,
wood, and bone, bronze tools were
used as
arms and ritual items. Dolmens and stone
cists
were the commonest forms of burials.
